    I told my grandpa "Thanks for your service." on Saturday. I think that was only the second time in my life I've ever told a person that to their face. I told a guy in fatigues a week or two ago and he immediately replied, "Thanks for your support."

    I'm going to do that more often, it feels good.

    I do it as much as possible whenever I see someone in fatigues. It feels good and I'm sure they appreciate the support even a little "thanks" conveys
