I was wearing a t-shirt and boxers. Everyone knows - or should know - it's not proper etiquete to fire your gun in your underwear.


But, seriously, no. I never felt like I needed a gun. The bear was just being a bear and only trying to protect her young. As soon as we left her alone she gathered her babies and left.
