Seriously? So your ok with someone carjacking you at gunpoint if they deem your completely legal, but possibly annoying behavior inappropriate?

WTF, how does loud music justify pointing a gun at someones head? Grand Theft Auto? I hope they are caught and charged, what they did is a violent crime. The Lancer driver should get a noise citation if the McD's wants to persecute them.

Guess I'll have to repost/quote myself too. I did not condone their actions... as much as I'd like to play it through:

My common sense side says: I understand what they were trying to prove... but broke a lot of laws and hope they don't get caught....

And that should probably read: "My common sense side says: I understand what they were trying to prove... but broke a lot of laws and should pay for it."

And make sure you actually watch/listen to the vid too. The text doesn't pull all the details out.

Car 1 trying to order.
Car 2 playing music too loud.
Car 1 asks/yells at Car 2 to turn it down.
Car 2 gets attitude and gets out of car heading for car 1.
Car 1 gets out and draws down (threat of harm retaliation?)
Car 2 gets back in car.
Car 1 says no, gets and pays for order, and takes both cars.

On teh street, Car 2 folks were "disrespectin' and axin' for it" or whatever the terminology was.

In all legalese, yes what Car 1 did was wrong and should be held accountable. I'd rather read this than something along the lines of:

Car 1 trying to order.
Car 2 playing music too loud.
Car 1 asks/yells at Car 2 to turn it down.
Car 2 gets attitude and gets out of car and shoots occupants of car 1.
McDonalds shuts down for an hour... lines out the door.
