Camp Hale, Ptarmigan Pass, Shrine, McGalister Gulch are all great easy scenic (Ptarmigan is amazing) routes. McGalister is a bit more technical but it's worth it to be running over the top of the mountains. The view on all these are out of this world, I was just up there Jeepin' a few weeks ago.

Our family has a cabin over in redstone (about 20 minutes from aspen). There is some awsome trails out of the ghost town of Crystal City (LeadKing Basin). I believe that some of the same trails connect from aspen. There is always snow in that area year round. We hunt the snowmass-maroon bells area and find snow above 11k all the time.
