Watched Kevin James new Netflix Original movie True Memoirs of an International Assassin last weekend.

I enjoy Kevin James movies and this one didn't disappoint. Good mindless humor. Sadly, I saw the near-end-of-movie plot twist from the start, but the very end twist redeemed things.

I just saw it this morning at a work function. It was vastly better than that POS they put out last year.

We saw the movie "Traded" at Walmart, read the back and thought it sounded pretty good.

It was NOT. Do not waste your time or attention.

We can deal with B films. We can even make fun of some of the shows that try so hard to take themselves seriously but fail. Sadly, this show was slow. S-L-O-W. I suspect the director had only a passing knowledge of what Westerns were comprised of, so the actors were told to speak their lines slowly, and have significant pauses in between their lines to sound thoughtful. Ignore the fact that Kansas looks NOTHING like Arizona (which is where this was filmed ignore the fact that the clothing was shiny and new while the actors had smudges of dirt and grime on their faces, to demonstrate hard work on a 'ranch'. What kind of ranch, I have no idea because there was no indication of anything but a fence where perpetual horses waited in their bridles and saddles, no matter the time of day or night. Maybe it was a dirt ranch, since there was dirt and dust blowing almost nonstop.
The daughter spoke with a twangy accent. The rest of the family did not.

There was a bunch more fussy stuff that kept throwing me out of the story, but the sub-par acting topped the list. I really, REALLY wanted to like this show, but I could not stomach more than 20 minutes.

We watched John Wick afterward, to recalibrate our blunted movie expectations.

I DVR a lot of shows from Starz Encore Westerns (Dish EWSTN) that I can watch at night and sometimes have to delete them 5-10 minutes in.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
