It's astoundingly good. All of the footage was shot originally on 70mm film, and as a result it's gorgeous. There's no narration, all of the audio is from sound clips that were recorded at the time.

A lot of the footage has never been seen before, and watching a Saturn V light off in IMAX is hugely impressive.

We saw it in IMAX as well. It was interesting that the Chappaquiddick manslaughter case was ongoing during the flight to the moon. Ironic that one brother called for the moon mission and another brother killed a woman just before the mission. Sadly I am not confident that our nation could bring such resolve to any similar task today. There were so many people who watched that mission and made it happen. I am hopeful that private industry can make something out of orbital travel and one day we may return to space.
