"Top Shot " on the History Channel

Glad I did'nt apply for this show. Some did'nt even get to shoot in the competion. ( I go to the range to SHOOT!!). The guy that went home could'nt hit an 8 inch target @ 100yrds with an '03 Springfield.(Alan York was rolling in his grave, I'm sure).

I hate how shows like this have taken over the History Channel. There isn't much "History" left, all the good shows they used to have are on History International, and even those are all reruns.

I like the fact that because you are a "former-ex-veteran" whatever the fuck, you MUST have more triggertime and be better than the average Joe shooter. I bet I could get eight guys from this board (including eesabey's kid, who I KNOW can hit a 100yrd target) and whip some ass. My crossbow-fu is a little week, someone will have to pick up the slack there.

"That guy" was Mike Seeklander, a USSA firearms instructor, GM USPSA pistol and 3-gun shooter, and one of the best shooters in the world... I'm pretty sure there was something other than the shooter couldn't hit it going on there. Trust me on this one... Homie can shoot.

BTW, I'm personally estatic that someone is taking shooting to mainstream TV in this way. It can do nothing but good in my opinion.
