Fixed for ya.I totally agree with the posts that say cyclists should have to pay reg fees and get a license to use the road like every other vehicle on the road. If they have the same rights and must follow the same rules, they should have to take a test and get a license like every motorist. They feel they are above that and they are special for whatever reason. “Oh, I ride my bike to work, I’m special” or “I’m helping the environment while staying fit.” No you’re not; you’re just a self promoting douche.
And to BuffCyclist…it maybe uncool to hurt someone but those guys were riding 4 wide. Had they been 1 wide like they should have been, they would have had room to move over and avoid being run off the road. A motorcycle can ride 2 abreast in Colorado and cyclists can't because its the law. One more case of cyclists breaking the law and one more case of cyclists being dipshits and endangering themselves by the way they choose to ride. If I were driving my little car all slow in the mountains on a narrow road (Not that I would ever drive slow, I laughed just writing that), and some huge big rig was bearing down on my back bumper, you bet your ass I would pull over to avoid him rear-ending me. See, I have this instinct called self preservation.
I can say that maybe 1 out of 100 cyclists I see actually follow the law. The 99 others run stop lights/signs, don’t go the minimum posted speed, ride abreast, don’t signal (of course it seems every turn signal in the state must be broken because cars don’t either, how hard is it to move your left finger 1 inch?) etc., etc. And by doing all of those things they are endangering themselves.
That said, those on here that are cyclists should put a picture of an AR15 on your back to avoid the beer bottles mentioned before.
