I'm sure that you have all heard that Muslims have been approved to build a mosque on/adjacent to the ruins of the World Trade Center, - Ground Zero.

Interestingly, the Statue of Liberty and New York skyline photoshops both predate 9/11 by about 5 years and were part of a series of (not very good) photoshops showing major cities and landmarks all around the world with minarets and camels all over the place.

It's their right to practice their religion wherever they want folks, while it may be a huge "fuck you" to everyone around, it's protected. Remember you have rights you don't want infringed on and taking away other peoples rights is a slippery slope which ends when you start losing the ones you treasure.

Rights are responsibilities, too. I've got the right to freedom of speech but that comes with the responsibility to be considerate rather than a selfish asshat. Likewise, Muslims have the right to freedom of worship but that comes with the responsibility to be considerate (in this case, to the innocent victims of Muslim extremists) rather than selfish asshats...
