I'm all for it, their right, their financials, their "win."

So...I strongly suggest as soon as the site opens;

An offensively large porn and live sex show establishment is built 5' larger in sq footage just to the South of "their building," an ornate Synagouge 10' square feet larger is approved and built to the West of "their building" and to the East...what else? A 60-story NYC "wonder-tower" that's top-to-bottom one big-ass pork BBQ joint next to "their building."

Unfortunatly he is 100% correct. I hate the idea that those fuckers are going to be able to do that, but TS12000 is correct, they have protected rights just as we have and we are all fucking irrate when our rights are infringed upon.
Dont get me wrong, I fucking hate the thought those fuckers are able to do this.

It's their right to practice their religion wherever they want folks, while it may be a huge "fuck you" to everyone around, it's protected. Remember you have rights you don't want infringed on and taking away other peoples rights is a slippery slope which ends when you start losing the ones you treasure.

Rights are responsibilities, too. I've got the right to freedom of speech but that comes with the responsibility to be considerate rather than a selfish asshat. Likewise, Muslims have the right to freedom of worship but that comes with the responsibility to be considerate (in this case, to the innocent victims of Muslim extremists) rather than selfish asshats...

I couldn't agree more that some common decency and consideration of others feelings (especially in a place like that) would be the best solution but it is what it is and with the good sometimes comes the asshats

Do ya think? Good! I think it's a little short-sighted. I think having both a hot dog cart and a pork rib cart immediately out front should be added to the list - with a couple of park benches where folks can sit and eat their food.

They're building it in south Manhattan because there is a large Muslim population there that doesn't have a mosque nearby to serve them. Well that's what they're saying anyway, but of course we all know (because we saw it on youtube) that all Muslims lie about everything, all the time. In reality, this is a $100 million 'fuck you' to the United States. Never mind that they could buy lots and lots of guns and explosives and flying lessons with $100 million, turning a derelict building that's already been in use as an overflow mosque for months into a permanent site, well, that's a much more effective use of the money.

Oh yeah, and have you ever been to New York? You think a call to prayer is going to be the loudest noise at dawn? Whatever floats your boat
