Very nice, would have loved a white one, but these first gen double cabs are hard enough to come by as it is.

Yeah they're great tucks. My favorite truck I've owned thus far. I have been fantasizing about a full size though.

Agree, my favorite vehicle thus far. I'm holding off on a full size until I absolutely need one.

Which three days? I'm usually off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Fridays are always good days to do that kind of stuff. Although, I could be tied up playing body shop guy this coming weekend as my step daughter rear ended someone the other day and messed up her car.

I heard Nissan might be coming out with a diesel version of their Titan. I may have to check into one when they come out.

That's what I'm hearing! I figure once I pay off the Taco I'll weigh my needs for a full size, either way I don't plan on getting rid of the Taco.

Curious if Toyota will follow suit with the Tundra...

Isuzu has a diesel truck they sell everywhere but here that is basically like a diesel Chevy Colorado. It is supposed to get a solid 40mpg. Could you imagine people buying S-10s, Tacomas, Frontiers, Rangers etc as commuter vehicles here?
Pretty sure all those companies make small diesel pick-ups for everywhere but here. Who knows why they aren't available stateside.

Yeah just about every manufacturer in the industry makes a diesel version overseas. Why the US auto industry has not gotten on board is beyond me. I've read several different theories on auto forums I participate in, but anybody's guess is as good as mine.

I'd love 40mpg, excellent torque, reliability, longevity etc, and I'm certain much of the US would as well.
