Anybody know how much snow is on the trails up around Montezuma/Keystone at this point? We were planning on going jeeping tomorrow but I've heard conflicting reports... from 1" to over a foot. Obviously it's going to depend, but I'm wondering specifically about the group of trails around Deer Creek, Chihuahua, Keystone Gulch, etc. Any chance anyone ran an early weekend trail today?

Me and condoor had plans to run a trail by Empire but we cancelled that due to the unknown conditions up high. We need to get a run planned for the next few weeks though.

What trail did you have planned? Some of those trails around Empire make for some good snow bashing, even in the winter months.

Be glad you didn't try to head up tonight. I caught my wife just in time before she started up. I70 was closed down around Dillon, and we have friends who have been on the road for 5 hours apparently trying to get up the hill. We'll try again in the morning and hopefully it'll be better then.

Dang glad I didn't attempt it tonight. Jumped on the CDOT website and saw the word "closed" right where we were headed. No thanks.

We were going to do Bill Moore Lake. I'm down for some snow bashing this year - never really done much winter wheeling.
