Any co-ar15 members into "wheeling"?

I've got a few "wheeling war stories" myself, good campfire material.

I'm certainly down for some more wheeling, in fact I'm hoping to do a trip every weekend until summers end, and then do some snow wheeling this winter.

There are a few runs I want to do, but won't do them solo, not necessarily difficult trails, just further out than I want to be solo.

I did sell the Jeep, after being a heep loyalist for so long, finally went to the dark side.

Toys are good solid vehicles, the only down side is that damn front IFS. Riding in an IFS vehicle off road is definitely rougher I think than a solid front axle with the sway bars disconnected.

Not to mention a lot more parts that can break, and just a down right pain the ass to modify.


Now that my boys are a little older might be a little nicer to wheel every other weekend. Last major wheeling was 2010 at coney flats/middle st vrain and my oldest was almost 3, he was a pain in the butt. No more diapers, can eat regular food, yeah must easier. Have to plan accordingly, you off on Saturdays? What trails you thinking that far away?
