Doesn't Bill Moore Lake have that real chancy spot that requires a winch, even late into the summer?

Awesome, winter wheeling is definitely the type you want a few rigs for. I plan on getting at least one set of chains for the Taco.
There are quite a few trails that would be doable during winter months in all but the worst conditions, the key is finding the ones that aren't gated and closed during the winter.
Slaughterhouse gulch stays open all year, I believe Bunce school road does as well. Middle St. Vrain would be a good one, but I'm not sure of it's winter status.
We will have to try and get a few rigs together for a run.
With the Obama-economy, it is tight everywhere. I'd love to get a second camera similar to what I rented to take those pics, but that is out of the question right now. If you shop around on craigslist, etc, you can find some deals though. If you can set aside what a handgun would cost, you could get something pretty easily. Sure you won't have big fancy lenses, but you can still get some decent shots.
Getting people more wound up than a liberal who just lost their welfare check
I like Slaughterhouse and would be down for a winter run there. Middle St Vrain is gated in the winter. I've never seen anyone winch at Bill Moore Lake, but I've never run it with snow. The lead in road has a slight off-camber to it that isn't even noticeable when dry. I tried to run it years ago in my old YJ with rear Detroit, and it kept squirting my tail end off trail. As someone mentioned - there is lots of trail above tree-line so once we get deep into winter this trail is prob a no-go too.
have any of you wheelers been to the Overland Expo near Flagstaff, AZ? I saw an article about it the other day--looked to be an interesting show for folks that like to get out in the wilderness in a vehicle

She mover under her own power now!!!!! Not that I can drive her because of my back yet but she looks great in the driveway. Went from the first pick to the current one finally. Just a few little things to button up but all the heavy lifting is done and the 8.8 swap turned out great with the Artec kit.
