We thought we would try Loch Lomond but there was snow at the trail head. We probably could have gone up a little but we were alone and I didn't want to get stuck alone.

Thanks for the link.

I've been stuck going up to Loch Lommand before. Fortunately it was minor and I got out, but snow at the beginning of the trail just means even more snow as you go along. At least in my experience.

If any of you are running the rampart range system, watch out for booby traps (not joking). Apparently, someone found a spike trap left on the trail this last week. Saw a small thread about on the arf HTF and was on a couple news programs. Stay safe and alert... I was thinking about taking a stroll around rampart tomorrow, but maybe I'll try something else.

It's the hippy/liberal/democrat type people boobytrapping your trails. You guys with your off road machines are destroying our planet.
I dont know know what you guys are thinking. What about the children?

I have found roofing nails at the base of the "big hill" on Twin Cone. Figured it was the locals, whose land you have to cross, putting them there.
