Your body does weird things. Often times you'll feel fine for the first few hours after the accident because of all the adrenaline, then feel sore later. If you are hurting right away, then you should probably go get checked out. It is always a good idea to get checked out after an accident in my opinion. When I was an adjuster, I always told people to go get checked out as soon as they could if they were worried about anything. It is better safe than sorry.

Get to a Dr. or Chiropractor for the neck thing - immediately... trust me! You want to manage that asap... don't wait.

The lawyer thing isn't any good until you get further into the medical problems and lack of payment or insurance problems. I know a good one if you need reference. (denver)

Hope you get well soon and don't have much pain...
