    Default Arapahoe Nat. Forest

    Does anybody know just what exactly the firearm policy is? Can you point me to a website or provide info? Google is a no go on this one. I just wanna know if im gonna get busted WHEN i bring one or two, and if i will get busted IF i open carry, dont have a ccw yet dammnit!

    Shooting in national forest is legal... just not around or across roads, streams, buildings, trails ect. I believe it's 150 yds unless posted otherwise.

    Open carry is also legal in national forest.

    No cans or plastic bottles jugs etc.
    You can shoot in any Nat Forest and if you have a CCW you can carry concealed otherwise open is fine.

    that's what I thought. But if you go on the website (which I finally found) it says NO FIREARMS in arapahoe/roosevelt Nat. Forest. BTW If the lake/reservoir I'm going to is in said forest,does it still fall under the same rules and regs?
