Congrats.
Mine is suppose to be here today. Have you been able to find the cases for the 4G anywhere yet? My understanding is that it's smaller than the 3GS so I'd guess we'll need new covers.
MUCH Smaller then the 3GS.. standing the phones up on end .. the new one is the same height.... but skinner in the other directions ( thinner in depth and width )
The New Display makes the 3GS look like a 5 buck POS............... A MAZE ING!
And I never had my 3GS in a case... just a generic holster I've used for all my iPhones and a phone before them ( I've had all 4 iPhones now )
tho I'm kinda interested in the Apple "bumpers"
I'm holding out on them, at some point I plan on making the transition to Android, but probably not for another generation or two. Enjoy it!
H.
The Android stuff is pretty cool all in all ... but the iPhone is the benchmark ...... and I'm an all Apple shop here ( I have 4 mac's I can see from where I am sitting........ and a fifth one somewhere around here LOL ) so the iPhone makes more sense for me since it is completely integrated with my computer.
Pretty amazing times we live in with phones that are 100's of times more powerful then many "super computers" from the not so distant past.
Is there anywhere in Colorado that supports 4G yet?

the iPhone 4 is NOT " 4G " it's the 4th version . it's still "3G" wireless ( tho it is capable of the higher 3G speeds )
My Dad worked on the Apollo program way back when, he's always telling me how his *almost* smart phone would have blown away the computing power in those ships they had. Crazy. I guess it goes to show you how it's often true that it's the carpenter not the tool :-)
BTW- my Dad still rocks the slide rule!
