Sometimes I Wonder if We, as Americans, have lost sight of what our Independence day represents to us as a Nation.
Is it a holiday in remembrance of our founding fathers standing together, fighting against tyranny. And remembering the men and women that have died for the liberty and freedom we enjoy today?
or is it just a four day weekend that we get so we can barbecue and drink beer... maybe get in an extra day of fishing.

that Star Spangled Banner video was awsome, i teared up thinking about that flag pole standing and the patriots who gave there lives to make sure it stayed standing.

We have a tendency to forget some of our patriotic holiday meanings and background-have a great 4th but take a moment with your families and remember.
