Who makes A1 style pencil barrels, preferably with an A1 front sight base installed?
I want a 20" barrel for a retro A1 build I'm going to start.
Tried google... didn't find much.

Krieger does custom stuff and I saw on their site a few offerings for AR15's... Though to be honest I'm not sure what your nomenclature means... I'm an AR15 noob.
Gunthings.com is offering the kits with the sight block already installed. http://www.gunthings.com/
I see you running, tell me what your running from
Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.
Check bushmaster, if you haven't already. That's where I got my 16" thin barrel. Can't recall if they had 20" or not.

Spleify 7-27-12Marlin is the end all be all of everything COAR-15...
i have a 20" barrel for sale, how would i know if it is pencil or not? may have what you are looking for, new to the ar building though.
Well, if worst comes to worst, you could buy an A2 barrel, send it to ADCO and have the profile turned down.
I would go this way, if I wanted a 1/7 (current type barrel) and put it on a Nodak upper. If you are looking for a correct build/barrel (1/12") then I would look on gunbroker for one the complete uppers (contact this seller http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=190400271).
