My wife did not befriend him. She wants absolutely nothing to do with the guy. This was a found picture on one of my wive's friends page... who she doesn't even talk to anymore so I don't know why they are "friends" but that's a different topic.

Well, she doesn't want anything to do with him so leave it at that. Don't drive yourself crazy over nothing. I have and it's just not worth it.

I hear ya, but just be glad you don't have to interact with your wife's ex like I do. This guy is a royal piece of work. I won't go into the details because most of you here would get so infuriated, well, I'll give you one example. We're in the process of trying to get him to agree to a new parenting agreement. He's actually arguing that, should he become homeless, he should still be allowed overnight visitation with his 5 year old daughter. Can you believe it? Anyway, be glad it was just a photo as my hell happens every Friday.

You have quite a trail. I've never had that happen. I think normally my observation is close to the mark. With this and all the other posts, I have to thank God I have the woman I do. Nothing's better for your health than trust & reliability at home. If you don't have it yet, get there.

Exactally, my wife has no reason whatsoever to even think about reaching out to her ex's nor do I.

Funny thing is one was from highschool and currently married with kids, the other still single and living it up; guess if they got it good in the past they come back beggin for more.
Prolly not always the case though.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary in March.

Congratulations! I know first hand just how much of an accomplishment that really is. this Nov 1 will be 22 years for my wife and I. How either one of us put up with the other for so long is far beyond my understanding - only the Lord knows!

Wow Funkfool - its the first couple of years of marriage that are usually the toughest. Making it through the first year really is quite an accomplishment.

Congratulations to both you and BigBear! - er, for both accomplishing the same goal (I wasn't implying anything else; honest).




My wifes very first boyfriend has found her on FB. They were together for 5 years. She told me about him looking her up and gave him a pleasant "Hi. Hope you are well. I'm very happy. Goodbye". I didn't even have a flicker of jeaousy over the deal.

I knew my wifes last boyfriend. He was a dirtbag top to bottom. What she ever saw in that guy is beyond me; he must have been hung like a clydesdale. After we got married this piece of dog dung tried to hit on her over and over. He even went so far as to comment to my father-in-law that he should have been the son-in-law instead of me. This is when I found out what my father-in-law actually thought of me - he put the piece of sh!t in his place with a fantastic response (I wish I remembered what it was).

Even through all of that, I still wasn't jealous.

And, in the end, that is all that is important. <- This is why I was never jealous.
