Default When it Rains, it Freakin' Pours!!

First, it was Finn, and how much it cost with getting him back to health. Thankfully, he's recovered beautifully. Then, Zeke had to get fixed, and he's had some minor complications with that. Then, one of Mrs. Birddog's rescue bunnies died suddenly on Sun.. Now, our black girl, Ceili, has to have her other knee repaired! Seems like these things always lump together. Man, gonna have to get insurance on the younger ones, and wish we had years ago with our others!

But, at least I'll never have to pay to have these kids drop out of college on me!

Man I feel for you. I just found out today that my inlaws, lost my dog over the 4th weekend, they were watching him cause we took a trip out of town. Man I would give some coin to find him that is for sure.

Best wishes for you and all of yours there, B-dog, great to hear about Finn.

Our 6yo bull(headed) terrier mix girl was diagnosed w/ lymphoma late Sep, chemo Oct-Apr, looked like full remission, just diagnosed w/ a relapse Monday, maybe <90 days after the 6mo protocol.

Started chemo again today, she had an allergic reaction to one of the meds (pretty sure it was one of the chemo drugs - skipping some detail here)... I got home after 1h45m away and she looked like she had 200 bug bites! Panicked about possible severe allergic reaction/shock/etc, talked in detail with two emergency vets + other research blah blah, got her some Benadryl like I thought, and she's almost totally cleared up again <3h later. PHEW!

No, I can't afford it... again... but what are ya gonna do?

She's lying at my side as I type.

    Good luck B-dog!

I love my dog. He's only 4, but he's been through quite a bit. Prayers inbound Birddog... along with some hope that a check will fall in your lap for the rainy day...
