    I always wonder... I always buy 50k tires; yet have to replace them every year (aprox. only 20k miles). It doesn't matter what brand!

    Your tires aren't wearing out fast because they are cheap. They are wearing out fast because of their speed rating. These are a very soft rubber tires made to hold the road. The softer the rubber, the faster they wear out. You may be able to go to a harder rubber tire in the same size but you will not get the performance that you get out of the higher speed tires that you have now.

    I'n not sure what your tires are rated. Probaby Z rated. You could move to a H rated tire and still have good preformance but your tires would last a lot longer. Talk to you tire store but be sure to ask him about what I'm telling you. It's been years ago but I was a manager for discount tire at one time.
