My gas grill only cost $599 dollars and I'd have loved the chance to shoot the fucker that stole it. It's not the value, it's the hard work and long hours that go into earning the money to buy the stuff. I wanted a stainless steel grill for years, I saved up for a year to get it. Shooting at someone as they drive away is illegal, even in Texas and Florida.

There was a case in Texas where a guy got his truck repo'd after dark. The truck owner shot the repo guy through the back window of the truck as he drove away and was not charged with anything. He was protected by the Texas Castle Doctrine. Also, your life can be in danger from someone behind the wheel. They will only be driving away, AFTER they run you over and kill you.

I haven't been around for a while, but I was glad to see that this story made it here.

my neighbor had his horse stolen, the night before last.

we had a light sprinkle of rain so all the tracks were fresh. this person parked down on the county road. then walked over 1/4 mile to the horses pasture. caught the horse, and then walked the horse back down to the waiting trailer. they had to walk right past my neighbors house. he works for the SO. I know he wishes he could have wallaced them.
