The other screw up is filing a lawsuit before the law goes into effect- so now they have to prove that it CANNOT be enforced constitutionally.

If it was in effect, and there was an event where someone's civil rights were violated (why Illegals have civil rights is beyond me, but I guess asking someone "where were you born, son? is violating their civil rights?), then they could get the the law nullified based on that..

but since it's not in effect, the burden of proof is on the Feds to prove that the law forces officers to violate civil rights.. if it's possible to follow SB1070 without violating civil rights, the Feds lose.

Many states are looking to emulate Arizona's immigration law. I hope the states do and this snowballs big time.

*IF* the Federal government were taking reasonable and timely measures to enforce the states sovereignty and protection of Arizona from the invasion, I would say "well mebbe they gotta point."

They aren't. The Fed is sitting on their ass collecting taxes with no sense of obligation to us same taxes to protect the people paying it.

"Damn, thank for paying for the Mistresses and the Limo. Now get out of my ear with that 'we need help' bullshit."

Maybe we SHOULD let Mexico take over, I hear they actually have an immigration law they hold to. (KIDDING)

I heard on the radio today that Prince William County in VA has had an almost identical law on the books for the last 3 years. It's worked wonderfully. They have seen a decrease in crime of 38%, and not one lawsuit filed for racial profiling due to this law.

The illegals all left the county. They were ridiculed by surrounding counties. The illegals all left to go live in those surrounding counties. Their crime levels went up. Now all surrounding counties have similar laws.

The law works. Just need to implement it everywhere.

They're not doing the job for a reason, and they don't want anyone else doing it, either... this is the reason conspiracy theories get traction... I'm just sayin'
