Target Focus Training or TFT. This is taught by the same guys that teach SCARS to DOD, SOCOM, etc. You won't win any style points but it will de-mystify everything you could ever learn through "martial arts". I took the three day course a few years ago and there were students with all the black-belts, Krag Maga, etc. The consensus was that TFT is the way to go if you want to survive a violent situation. TFT is based on principles and not techniques so it is very easy to learn and practice. This is why it is taught to tier-one personalities in the DOD.

So the class you are taking is general to the public or the private one?

I'll give Mr. Rigg a call soon. Thanks!
The Saturday class is a group class so it's not considered private training. I'm trying to do the Saturday classes in conjunction with some private instruction but right now I can't make the Saturday classes.

Mike is a good guy and has a very positive attitude towards bringing in new students to the fold. I think you'll enjoy it.

... ok, I'll admit it was a lot funnier in my head....

I wish I could, unfortunately they don't want fat 38 year olds with flat feet and fused bones...I wasted my youth.
