Eh, had my choice when I got out of the service. I enjoy all 4 seasons here and we're all gun nuts. When I can cook off a tin of 7.62x54R from my back porch and no one can hear it I figure I've done something right hehe.

That said, I do enjoy my trips to CO. I've had family there for 40 years and every vacation I've ever taken has been there. The only bad part is the out of state elk tag price. :|

Okay, I digress - it sounds like you've got a dream setup going on out there. I envy you!

That out-of-state elk tag fee really is cost prohibitive - unless you're from Texas. I'm starting to think that everyone from Texas is rich with how many of them we get up here each year.

One downside is the shows are tiny. One of the first shows I attended was in Denver and I'm always disappointed here. If you're not into looking at 80% shotguns it's not much of a trip. But hardly anyone set up at a table has a license and unlike there, we don't have to have anything called in on the way out the door. Smaller, simpler, less selection.

Raleigh County, smack in the middle of southern WV aka God's Country.

I've gone with the red for years. Certain movie I watched during my DLI days dubbed no pycckuú, Krasni Rasvyet.

You may have the same manuals, but I have the complete set of TM's on Soviet doctrine. I spent the better part of 2 years playing REDFOR in Hoenfels, carried an AK more often than a M16. Next time you come out here to visit we should get together @ your brothers house.

I had to ask what county because my AG was from Appamattox county, all WV good ole boys ask "What county?" kinda like Jersey people ask "What exit?"

Nice. We'll definitely have to get together. The only stuff I have that survived moves is DPRK related.

And I think Appomatox County would be in Virginia, not WV. I'll have the crack head slap ya.
