We in Longmont need to try an experiment. Next city council meeting,when a uniformed (assuming armed) police officer walks in, stand up and express your feeling of being "intimidated" by the presence of an armed individual and see if you can get the officer removed and/or arrested.

I know, it is beyond a long shot. They probably exempted law enforcement as usual. But I'm old fashioned. I think what's good for civilians is just as good for CIVILIAN law enforcement.

But is is good know my council member voted against it.
