Default CCW healthcare workers on here?

I'm a registered nurse (yeah, I've heard all the Fokker jokes already, but it's good money and fulfilling work.) working in a less-than-ideal neighborhood. Anybody else here carry in scrubs, and if so - how?

Second part of the question: Anybody work at a hospital, or other acute-care facility that is new-grad friendly? I'd like to get a solid year or two of med-surge experience under my belt, but Denver is unfortunately one of the few areas that actually has a nursing surplus. Just curious.

Note to clarify: I don't carry AT work, but I do have to stop for gas frequently in the surrounding neighborhood.

You actually work at a healthcare facility where carrying a weapon is not grounds for instant termination (not to mention a violation of some overall no-weapons policy)? Legal to carry or not, make sure you aren't going to seriously damage your career if they know about it.
