I always found the personnel at Green Mountain Family Shooting Center very rude and unprofessional. I tried to shoot there a few times to support their business, but they always managed to change my mind when I got there. In that respecy they weren't much different from when they were K2. They also seemed to be trying to rip off The Family Shooting Center at Cherry Creek, and would not admit there was another range named The Family Shootng Center in Denver claiming they were the only one.

As far as GMG, I went a lot before they moved, not so much anymore. Their prices on used stuff are still pretty reasonable, but to me they're not as friendly as they used to be.

I've never really "gelled" with that place, even since it was K2.

There was one dude that was tip-top (for some reason I want to say his name was Scott Wolf but I could be wrong) but he didn't work there very long.

Since then, the only time I've gone there is if there is snow and they are the only place open.

When you listen to the message it said they closed on July 10th, which is strange because I was there on July 10th and not a single worker made any mention of closing or the place being for sale.

The only thing I can note from that day was a group of police doing a walk through and checking the place out, that seems only to be a coincidence.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were hoping you would pay $250 for a VIP membership.

I'm not sorry hear they went Tango Uniform.

    Default Any info

Anybody know what's up with this place?
Drove by on Wednesday, there was a car parked in front and a few trucks in the back lot. Also saw a guy walk in the side door. Web site unchanged and the phone says mailbox is full.
    New owners? Opening soon?

For being such a nice facility, that place was a joke. I for one hope that the owner went under and it will be bought by someone who knows how to run such a place.

I agree. It's a little cheesy they used the "Family Shooting Center' in their name.
