I read on another site that it is for sale, and will supposedly require significant work to get into compliance. I'd sure like to make my living running a range, training, and selling guns. Anyone got a million bucks I can borrow?

I spoke with the owner when it was K2 right when it was opening several years ago. He told me he put like a million dollars in it at that time to get it 'in compliance', mainly in the ventilation system. It was a nice facility then. I can't imagine having to put a ton more money in the place unless it's been trashed, the EPA has put more restrictive regulations on the evil lead that has killed more people in vapor form than in bullet form (according to them), or the money was poorly spent in the first place. Sorry Fentonite, I don't have a million to loan you, Running a range for a living would be cool, but I would probaly just end up shooting up all the profits....

Well, good luck to the new owners, I hope they don't re-hire the old staff. I never really minded going there, except for not being able to retrieve all my brass. Didn't care for the Nazi attitudes of some employees though. Air movement seemed to be an issue too, it could get kinda stuffy in there. Still a much better place than The Firing Line, but I don't care for indoor ranges much anyway. I'd love to have one of my own, but a public one? Meh.
It will be nice to have a range close by again, I hated GM before, hopefully the new owners will be better.

Drove around this place this evening, looks like they've ripped out the carpet and are doing some work, but didn't look as if anyone was home.
