    X2 on both accounts.

The first time I went there a couple or few years ago they were just extremely condescending and dickish when talking to me. I said thanks for your time and left. I decided to give them another try this morning . . . . Closed until further notice.

I wish I would've searched Green Mountain before cruising up there. My bad. I did however find a killer european style bakery on Jewell just east of Kipling. Gooooood shtuff.

When I was in Green Mountain Guns (the store, not the range) last week, I asked a very nice salesman about the range and he said that he heard that it is closed because it is up for sale.

The guys in Green Mountain Guns store are always great. I like that place.

Anyone here win the lottery recently and want to snatch up the shooting range?

I've never had a problem at GMG, was in there a few days ago and they were very nice and friendly. There's a rifle there that I have a serious hardon for at the moment, might have to try for a trade.

Now the range is another story. They've always been friendly, but very rule-oriented. No surplus ammo, and no lead bullets. I've heard a lot of bad stories about them though, mostly on this board. I don't like indoor ranges anyway, and don't like to shoot around other people. Don't like having to keep my earmuffs on constantly. So we shoot at Ben Lomond where we ALWAYS have privacy.

I always found the personnel at Green Mountain Family Shooting Center very rude and unprofessional. I tried to shoot there a few times to support their business, but they always managed to change my mind when I got there. In that respecy they weren't much different from when they were K2. They also seemed to be trying to rip off The Family Shooting Center at Cherry Creek, and would not admit there was another range named The Family Shootng Center in Denver claiming they were the only one.

As far as GMG, I went a lot before they moved, not so much anymore. Their prices on used stuff are still pretty reasonable, but to me they're not as friendly as they used to be.
