    Default Family Photo (updated)

Hey Gang, I know it's been awhile since I've posted, but I thought I would share a few updated pictures of my family with you. The Glock 19C was added recently. The quotation on the Glock is from the late Jeff Cooper.

    Rifles from top to bottom:
    1. Winchester model 1894 (made in 1994) -First gun I bought when I turned 18.
    2. Mossberg 500 - 20" barrel. Gets work done.
    3. 6.8x43mm AR15. My first AR. 16" Custom upper from AR15Performance.com VLTOR stock, cheap Barska scope (for now), 11" Troy TRX Extreme rail, FSC-30 muzzle device.
    4. 5.56mm AR15. 16" Chrome-lined barrel. Magpul CTR stock, 7" DD rail with Magpul XTM panels, VFG from Spike's Tactical, Bushnell HOLOsight.
    Pistol: Glock 19C

Here is some of my foam-cutting handiwork from today. Now I can carry all three of my most commonly used guns in one Pelican case. Everything is very snug and easily survives a drop test without moving at all. Very convenient for flying or other travel.

Quote from Jeff Cooper: "An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it."

I'm still pretty new to collecting guns, so I try to make sure that every gun I buy has a practical application and adds something new to the family. How am I doing?

Good looking family . How did you carve up that foam, with a homemade hotwire or what? It looks like you did a bang up job - I've been thinking of setting something up so I could build a couple of cases like that.

Thanks For the foam, I just laid everything out how I wanted it and traced it with a pen so I could see where I needed to cut, then I gently sawed the foam with my pocketknife, which I had to go sharpen. It takes a little practice, and you need to remember to cut the foam with quick and steady in and out motion, instead of tearing it. This will help to keep nice edges. Cutting everything like you see in that picture took me about 2 hours.. Working around the edges of the AR was kind of tough.

Always a good quote! Your family is off to a nice start, I think a nice 10/22 would be a great next addition! Thanks for sharing.
