I have thought about that, maybe wrapping it in tape, but I am kinda sckerred!
I think i will get in touch with MB888 and get it done that way!

Put some small scraps of wood between the receiver and the vise. That will protect the finish and the wood will absorb the pressure so you dont deform the receiver.
