    Default International Shipping question

Perhaps one of our FFLers has some experience in this.

    Situation:
I am considering shipping personal firearms to someone in the Philippines as a "Gift"

I know there are a ton of International shipping requirements as well as ITAR to consider.
Just wondering if anyone here has any insight on this or if it would be easier to just carry them in Checked Baggage, and then what are the requirements there?

+1million. Not for international for something that costs over $100.

Carry it on the plane/boat with you. (Not acutal carry on, but you know what I mean.)

I have first hand familial experience with that, Dad lost several firearms on several trips going back and forth from Germany/Russia. Finally he just told his boss to have one there when he got there. Never a prob since. But that was years ago. I don't think he's been on a plane since he retired.
