    Default Got engaged this weekend.

I finally asked Gloria to marry me this last weekend. We went up to our cabin near Grand Lake to celebrate for the weekend. It's been far too long, and I'm very happy to finally do the right thing. She is very happy and we had a great time. I feel like a chump because I've known from pretty much day one that she loves hiking and camping, and I've had this cabin in the mountains in my family since before I can remember. However, it turned out to be a perfect way to propose/celebrate for the weekend. We plan on making trips up there much more frequently. Here are some pictures.

Some neighborhood kids built this pretty large camp.

And we saw this pretty sweet road kill.

And finally, for anyone who likes old cars (I generally don't), got a restored Metropolitan in the garage. Paint looks faded in the pictures, but that's just because they are cell phone pictures.

That's a good looking family you've got there Irving. (Oh, I know you haven't tied the know yet, but that part is just a formality - you're a family already!)

In the pic just before the lake pic, the one where you are holding the little girl (your daughter?) while standing on the rock, looking (way) down to th woods below makes me think of the scene in Lion King where Mufasa holds Simba up to the members of the jungle below.

    Thanks guys.

Ginsue, I'd rather you picture The Lion King than Michael Jackson dangling his kid off a balcony.
