We support the 10th group here at carson and my experience with them is they are about as low key as it gets.

And the radio is a real nice touch. Must have been to phone ahead the burger king order. I did my deployments and time in the sandbox but nothing to write home about.

I did some work at JFKSWC at Bragg while convalescing back in 89ish
There is a reason they are known as quiet professionals.

I always wonder about the ones that bragg up some award, medal, Bragg up what unit they were with and how they won the war single-handed.
It's been my experience they are
A) PX Rangers.
B) Brown-nosers that had a hand in writing their own awards.

I knew a guy that never saw a single insurgent, never kicked a door, never ran a patrol. never heard a single mortar the entire time he was in KUWAIT.
wrote himself up a Bronze Star and an MSM.

I dunno about nowadays, but back when I was in you didn't get a bronze star unless you were in it.

PX stands for Post Exchange
Ranger is a school you attend to learn how to conduct combat patrols or it is a member of a elite infantry unit.

Put them together and you get a fat piece of shit that has never had a hard day in his life stealing from the men who bring fear into the hearts of there enemies in the middle of night.

So what I am trying to say is he went to the PX and bought the patches and awards that real men fight and die for to earn.

Any one know where this guy is at. I have a vested interest in seeing this faggot do the truffle shuffle. I bet that would push him to commit suicide.

If I wanted to feel important I go to the PX and buy garnishments to impress myself and hopefully those around me. Some personnel have even been known to falsify rank or awards by purchasing decorations they have not been awarded.

Make no mistake. UCMJ doesn't give a rats ass about the supreme court's ruling regarding Stolen Valor. Your ass WILL end up in the Brig if you are caught. and I Would wager you would be a tad worn and worse for the wear when you arrived.

I'll bet he picked up all of his "play Army" toys online, at surplus shops or at gun shows. I bought some 10th Mountain stuff online pretty easily (as a tribute mind you and not to play soldier).

Stu, the PX is like the "military only" Walmart. Depending on your branch of service it's called different things. Army is PX = Post exchange. Air Force is BX = Base exchange. Etc.

I've only met about three special forces people. Like actual operators, not logistical or support personel. I can tell you that they do NOT go around talking about what they've done or the awards they've won or how many people they've killed. They are solemn and professional and all in all, wonderful people. Anytime someone starts bragging about what they've accomplished, I turn a suspect ear/eye.

You know, I've heard of a lot of folks, in the regular Army, who wear the Ranger tab though they didn't earn it. Hell, for that matter I KNEW plenty of folks that wore the Ranger tab legally and didn't earn it in RS, but rather they got it for their involvement in either RS or because they were a CO. The Ranger tab doesn't guarantee they went through the training. It dilutes the hard work of others, but it does happen. Personally, I found it irritating as did most of the guys I served with but probably wouldn't get in a fight over it, likely I would just rip it off their sleeve. However, SF is a different matter, those guys were pretty hard core and might take the arm off too .

Alot of people on this forum have fought and lost friends in defense of this great country. One of the freedoms is also the right to be a douche bag. Any one in there right mind should be able to pick this guy out. I don't condone his actions by any means ,but where do we draw the line with what we can say he can or cannot do. On the other hand I most likely would have pissed. From reading about this guy he needs some help, mentally.
