Default .22LR Handguns Reccomendations with Poll!!!

    Ladies and Gents,
Please respond to poll and then in thread as to WHY you picked your choice - i.e. small frame, smooth grip, etc.

As far as why the thread: Friend has wife who would like a small .22 handgun.... my wife wouldn't mind one either.... No money and I'm not buying now, just want to open discussions on it.

I personally would pick the Sig Mosquito as one could add a can to it and it be "more funner"!

    Thank you.

    Browning Buckmark

    Accurate little gun.

Browning Buckmark. Inexpensive, eats anything, very durable, good looks, lots of aftermarket support.

    I have this one

    and this one on order

I have a Mark III 22/.45....pretty much a tack driver with anything I've tried to feed it so far. Reasonable, too.... I think I paid about $250 after tax from one of the gun show vendors a couple of years back...

    Is 22/45 a caliber or a model?

    It's a model...Basically a Mark III with gripframe angle and dimensions that ape a 1911...in .22
