    Default TANNER show in Pueblo!!

There is a NEW gun show scheduled by the TANNER folks for October 9 & 10 at the fairgrounds in Pueblo. Supposed to be a 500 table show and hopefully will be a well attended show especially since the weather should be cooled down somewhat by then and hopefully we'll all have some spending money for more shootin type stuff by then. Believe I'll try a table up there to kinda "test the waters". I just hope the dates are not conflicting with some other gun show here in Colorado. Anyone here hoping to attend this NEW gun show in beautiful Pueblo??
Now don't all shout at once.

I doubt I'll have any money to spend, but I'm planning on attending.

Looks like perhaps a couple lotto tickets should be in your future.

I think that's the only chance if getting any extra spending money or a while.

My mother-in-law is terminally ill and my wife will be going to stay with her mom and dad in KY until the start of October. Sadly, we believe that my mother-in-law will pass away before then and this will give my wife enough time to settle affairs and things and set her dad up to continue on.

This means that she's going to be on a leave-of-abscence from her job so we'll be without that income and I just paid the tuition/books for 2 kids in college.

Hey Ginsue, you and your wife have been dealt a really tough hand to deal with. I hope your Father-in-law is at least in decent health. Death is always dang tough on any family. Prayers being said that your wife can deal with the situation without too much stress.
Speaking of tuitions, my daughter now has three kids in college and I know that the expenses are something else.
On another note, although I will NOT be having a table at the next CO Spgs show, just wondering if you may attend to at least kinda roam the aisles?

Yeah, me too! Of course, going to the gunshow without much money is just depressing. But then, I could drop 20K at a gunshow (if I had it) and still feel like I didn't get all the stuff I wanted.

To me going to a gun show is a lot like going to a strip club. There is always a lot I'd like to touch, fondle, and play with, but know I can't afford, and if I'm not careful, just going there will cost me a fortune, and will usually get me in trouble with the wife.

First off, thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. It's an emotionally tough time, but we'll make our way through it. Regarding my father-in-law, not in such great health himself and we expect that after 64 years of marriage, he'll follow his bride to the grave in short order. FOr our own selfishness, we can only hope otherwise.

I certainly plan to be at the show this weekend (barring any unforeseen events, like joining my wife in KY for a funeral). I can usually be found by following the drool trail - at least until I swing back around for another pass.

Now I love that analogy! Well said!
