    Default ar10 upper

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could tell me the inside diameter of an ar10's upper tube.

I'd like to build my own out of steel tube for my 8x57mm ar10 idea

    Default 1.190 inches

The Armalite AR10 upper receiver I measured was 1.190 inches inside diameter.

By the way AR10 is a registered trademark of Armalite. The AR10s are only made by Armalite.

Are you familiar with the Biil Holmes books? He wrote detailed books about building M16 type guns from scratch. Many of his books are available free on the internet.
