D44s? 9"? Gearing? Lockers? Come on mang, more info.
D44, 9", 3.50 gears, open diffs. 4" lift. Soon to be 4.10 gears, lock right front, Detroit rear. Or we could go off the deep end and go D60 front, D70 rear 4.10 Detroits both ends.

What size tires will you be running to need a D70/D60 combo? I always liked 4.27 gearing. Not to low for on the road but good enough for most trails. Add a Terra Low to the T'case and no worries. Been running a Lock Right for a while with D44s and 35s. No problems at all.

Gunna need some extrication machinery on the front end soon.

Don't worry. It won't stay that way for long.

Runnin 33's for now. I have had bad luck with D44's and 9"ers. Everyone else loves 'em, I break the hell out of them. Hell, I break D60 rears too. Too many ponies I suppose. For a Ford with 33's that was originally 3.50 geared, swapping to 4.10's brings the speedo back to normal. My black Bronco had 39.5's and 5.13's Detroits both ends. That hoss could climb vertical walls.

Mile Marker hydraulic. I have burned up 2 Warns, and the Ramsey 16k worm drive on my F-350 needs rebuilt AGAIN. 9k MM on the old truck has never let me down, it is slow, but the power doesn't fade.
