Pretty lame show from what I saw. I stopped going to shows two years ago after pledging to never again waste the time/money. I figured i'd try it again just to see if anything changed...

Pluses: I didn't see any Nazi crap this time (not to say that I may have just missed it). Also, surprisingly, it was not packed at all. Plenty of open parking spots up front, and plenty of room to move around inside. Unlike previous shows, I was able to maneuver the aisles without being molested by camo-clad 350lb shower-allergic bumpkins.

Minuses: As expected, I couldn't find a single good deal. The vast majority of tables were stocked full of heavily used & abused crap that was priced above new retail prices. Found some okay ammo deals, but nothing that actually was worth buying. One guy actually had old beat-up boxes of 9mm American Eagle and wanted $25/box for it (this was the extreme high-end of the price spectrum). Saw a heavily abused first-gen S&W Sigma with a price in the HIGH $400 range! What a deal! Way too many knives and non-firearm stuff, but I can't complain because it was advertised as a gun & KNIFE show.

I didn't get up to the show, but since people are talking ammo prices...I just picked up 1000 rnds of Federal American Eagle .223 55gr FMJ at link below for $311.90 shipped. It's 29.99 per 100 rnd boxes plus shipping. Only $12 to ship a case

I havent been to the Aurora show in 3 years. From the looks of it in 3 years it wont exist.
One of the worst I have ever been to.
    $1599.00 for a NIB Colt 6920
Black Rain builds (I think) for $2000+
One dealer actually had a PSL54-C with a tag on it for $1195.00. I asked him why so much and he told me that was the best price I would ever find on a Dragunov.......

    A used 10/22 for $275.00.........

    Good Grief!

Thanks I needed a good laugh!
Ill agree with you, Ill bet the only show left is Tanner in 2 years, and even that one will likely die out soon after. I cant image people are dumb enough to buy some of this stuff at inflated prices. I hi a couple shows this year, and saw one guy, with 91/30 mosins. No bayo, non-matching, all counterbored, for 125-150.
