    Default Hello all...

Checking in as well. Have been interested in firearms since I was 10 and went through hunter's safety up in Montana. Hunted a lot as a kid and joined the military at 18 where they upped the ante so to speak. Served for 10 years, part of which was in the ARNG. Was a SAW gunner in an infantry company where I did a year long tour in Iraq (OIF2). Getting into bow hunting here in a few weeks, thanks to one of my comrades. Have only hunted with a long gun since I was a kid.

Have carried concealed a few years back when I was in New England (had both a ME and NH CCW) and dragged my feet getting current when I moved to CO. Got my CO CCW about 6 months ago and getting back in the habit of taking my SIG everywhere.

Dig talking shop about the military, firearms, and other like minded survivalist type folks. I believe my signature articulates my position well also. Thanks for contributing to this forum and please do not hesitate to shoot me a question sometime. Also, I am involved in construction and home inspections also if anyone needs advice about that as well.

Not sure if this in inappropriate given the URL but AKs are the way to go. Not a big fan of Mr. Stoner's handywork. Thought I would throw that out there, being new and all. lol

    Regards.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." -John Stewart Mill
