. . . the video game. Anybody here planning on getting it? I've already pre-purchased the PC version. Release date of 10-12-2010.

Looks awesome ... too bad I haven't had a computer capable of keeping up with new games in many years![]()
I'm conditionally boycotting Steam. I bought (they sold me) a game with known problems and wouldn't refund my money. $10. I even told them I'd take "Steam credit" and put it towards a different game. Customer service is everything to me when dealing with people you're giving or have given your money to.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is the game and there's a sound bug in it when playing multiplayer. It makes the game unplayable unless you want to mute it.
If there's a crazy good deal on Steam on an older game then I'll get it there. If it's a newer game and the same price all over I'll get it at a store and deal with taking care of the disc and updating it myself.
Sorry to get off topic. MoH 2010 is going to be the shiz!!! If anyone ends up getting it we should try to hook up in game and own some people. E-thug all the way.

I had no idea it was going to be contemporary. And now I do know, October seems such a long time away.

Definitely, I have a new GTX 460 that needs to be challenged.
I tell ya, I wouldn't want to piss off the guy on the cover art.
I just hope the new MoH doesn't turn into another CoD knockoff... I'll plan on puchasing though.
MoH gets released tomorrow.
@BigBear - Did you get to play the Beta at all? It was pretty cool looking and had some decent gameplay but it's totally a CoD knock off IMO. The other thing that I was not impressed with was the complete lack of destructability of structures or other various items. Hopefully that was just something with the Beta and the true release will be better. Destructability is one of the main things that sets BF BC2 apart from any other game out right now. It makes it way more realistic. I'd be amazed if EA dropped the ball on that. Well, not that amazed I guess.
A ton of people seemed to just want to sit back, snipe, and not worry about the objectives. Go figure.
I'm really hoping this game isn't a fail.
