I won't pick it up right away, I'll wait a month or two and get some reviews.

I like BFBC2, but I must be honest and say that BF2 is still my favorite.

Yeah, I don't like the folks that just sit back and snipe and don't help out the team at all either. Can't win by ignoring the objectives and just sniping...

Wow. How incredibly disappointing this game is. It can be kinda fun I guess but it's far away from being great and there's nothing really original in it. This may as well be an expansion pack to COD4 or MW2. What a FAIL!!! Oh well. Hopefully EA doesn't F up BF3.

My opinion to anyone wanting to try this game is to do precisely that. Try it before you buy it. And then you'll save yourself some money.

I picked it up at the midnight release (uber nerd here) and have put a few hours in on the online gameplay. It is definitely a BFBC2 knockoff, and even feels the same to me. I only bought this to hold me over until Nov. 9th when Black Ops releases.

BFBC2 kills this game IMO. I find it to be more of a COD4 knock off. Either way it's blah.

I was up till 0300 this morning going through the campaign at my buddies house, all I can say is epic, although it was a little shorter than I anticipated. Audio is way better than COD, and it is all around more realistic IMHO. And you get to drop large quantities of BG's with an M14 EBR, which behind liquor and sexual intercourse, could be the greatest invention of all time. Plus at the end they have a huge tribute to service men and women, which I thought was cool. If you got the extra scratch and time laying around, I highly recommend picking it up.

And finally the M14/M21 EBR has a 20 round magazine. I thought the campaign is pretty cool, for what little I've played so far.

Few things suck worse than looking forward to a new game then having it suck.

Went thru that with Civ 5.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll save my dough and stick to bad company.

No problem. But remember, that's just my $.02. Hitman thinks this game is the best thing next to sliced bread so you may like it. I will say that the single player campaign is pretty neat but a lot of people are saying it's way too short. I haven't finished it yet myself. Taking bad guys out with a M14 is pretty damn fun. The graphics and sound are way better that COD4 but the multi-player gameplay is very similar. If they made it more like BC2 gameplay I would appreciate it a lot more.
