    Default Gun found in Backpack at School

    my kids school. Couldn't figure out what the officers were doing here when I got back home around 4:30, now I know. Yikes.



    LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Lakewood police arrested the parent of a kindergartner Wednesday after the child brought a gun to school.A teacher was cleaning up and discovered the gun in a backpack at Molholm Elementary School on West 9th Avenue in Lakewood, police said.One of the child's parents told police the parent had inadvertently left the gun in the child’s backpack, police said.
    The parent was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and possession of a weapon on school grounds.The identity of the parent is not being released.

    Hell, I built a .44 cal Navy black powder revolver in shop class. We test fired it on the practice football field. Times sure have changed.

    Still, that poor kid's parents are dumbasses!
