    my kids school. Couldn't figure out what the officers were doing here when I got back home around 4:30, now I know. Yikes.



    LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Lakewood police arrested the parent of a kindergartner Wednesday after the child brought a gun to school.A teacher was cleaning up and discovered the gun in a backpack at Molholm Elementary School on West 9th Avenue in Lakewood, police said.One of the child's parents told police the parent had inadvertently left the gun in the child’s backpack, police said.
    The parent was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and possession of a weapon on school grounds.The identity of the parent is not being released.

    Hell my freshman year at Heritage in Littleton I built a copy of the Modena Rifle. Now you have a kindergarten kid that was suspended last year for bringing a Lego kit pistol.
    Common sense is sorely lacking in the education system.
    But this moron parent needs to have their ass removed for leaving a firearm where a child has unsupervised access.
