Default My new Colt M4 Carbine .22 Tactical Rimfire

I just picked this up the other day because it looked way to cool, and I'm a sucker for 22s. I'm not sure I can keep it but for now it's mine...take a look.

Default Got serious and put some rounds down range

Went out and shot a few hundred rounds today and the new Colt performed flawlessly. I'v got a video posted on Facebook if anyone wants to see it just e-mail me and I'll send it to you. If you have been thinking about buying one of these I reccomend it...no complaints so far

good to hear it ran great for you. I heard when these first came out they sucked, there was a guy on gunbroker selling them as Plungers and fence post markers, because they just would not work(worked better as a singal shot). Like your set up looks good.

Default Review of the Colt M4 tactical 22Lr

Ok, I've had the rifle for a few weeks now and I could not be more pleased. The gun has yet to misfire, jam, stove pipe, or whatever else you can think of, it has performed perfectly. I have been shooting only hi velocity ammo, not any of the bulk packs from Remi or Winchester and I think that may be one reason for the reliability. I have also been very meticulous when it comes to cleaning.

A few misconceptions abot this rifle cleared up:

The business end of this rifle is strictly a 22LR...there are no interchangeable parts that can be used with an AR with the exception of the stock, grips, carry handle, etc

Yep, it's expensive for a 22LR!, but you get the feel and function of an AR for a fraction of the cost per round...great way to introduce someone to shooting an AR

It is accurate as anything. Mine is sighted in at 100yds with the red dot and iron sights and I can shoot way under 1 MOA all day at 100yds with this thing.

Would I buy another one...probably not, like I said it's expensive
Am I happy I bought this one...you bet I am
Would I reccomend it to a friend...Yep, without a second of hesitation
