Default Do I have one foot in the grave?

NO, although I do have some serious health issues (prostate cancer) I don't believe that I am doomed - real soon anyhow. I'm posting this here since in the "General Discussion" is shows that we can post anything (amost).
At 73 years of age, I figure I don't have a hell of a lot of years left in this old body so have reluctantly decided to get rid of my 40 year accumulation of reloading tools and supplies. I'm going to take the whole mess up to the Tanner PUEBLO gun show on October 9th and 10th and truthfully want to return home after the show with none of the stuff I take up there to unload.
As indicated, there is 40 years of accumulation and since I very seldom use it anymore, might as well let someone else enjoy it and not have to rely on my son to dispose of it after my old ashes are shot out of one of my mortars or cannon. I'm going to price the major portion of it at about 1/2 of what I paid for it and want to get rid of everything but I refuse to give it away. I'm not listing anything on the internet and will not reserve anything for anybody so it'll be the first one there with the cash will be able to haul off a lot of neat/great/non-abused reloading stuff.
Finally, it's difficult to believe that a guy can be so damn sick and still feel so good.
Thanks for reading this long winded message.

Bummer to hear about the cancer. I have a good friend going in for prostate surgery this week her in Pueblo. I'll be sure to stop by your table and say hello.

    Blaster-

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. My dad dealt with PC when he was 64-about 12-14 years ago. Thankfully he made it through and is still with us and healthy.
I know it can be a dark hallway to look down but keep positive and dont give up.

Glad you are feeling great. If we can feel great to almost the end, then life is good (right?). I would like to make it to the that show. I started reloading less than a year ago and have a ton of stuff all ready.

    God bless

So, are you selling anything beforehand, or just at the show?

    Thumbs up

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues and I wish you the best of luck. I've been a reloader for well over 12 years and I can't say that I know what you are going through. The reality is that I'll be deployed by that date and I wish that I could be there to support you. Good luck on your endeavours.

PC isn't a death sentence. hang tough and kick it's ass. My 86year old father in law is waiting on the official diagnosis, but he's not ready to kick it either.

That said, I've been thinking of getting into reloading... might have to truck down to Pueblo on the 9th.

Thanks again guys for the encouraging words. It may be worth the trip over to Pueblo for you arz if you are really considering getting into reloading. I have a huge bunch of reloading equipment as well as "shit ton" of components (empty cartridge cases, primers, powder and many many projectiles). Again, I do NOT want to have to haul any of this stuff back home with me but I can't just give it away. I only have two tables for this show and truthfully believe I could use a couple additional tables.
The most time consuming thing is coming up with some realistic prices for this stuff. What a giant pain in the axe and I just barely have a good start on prices.
