Default Finally got the SBR stamp

I'd put off creating an SBR for quite a few years and finally got around to sending in the paper work. The wait time was approximately 3 months from the time I submitted the app. to getting the stamp in hand. Not too bad a time frame considering I didn't go the trust or corporate route.
The 10.5" is in 221 fireball and has the gas port in the pistol position.
The 8" is in 300 fireball and has the gas port located about 1 1/8" shorter than pistol position.
The lower I completed from an 80% forging so I could have just my logo and name on it.

Awesome! I'd love to see time-lapse pictures of the lower receiver being worked up from a blank. Do you have a CNC machine?

Thanks guys, this project was a lot of fun.

Hoosier, No CNC. I have a lathe with a milling attachment and purchased a drilling jig from CNC Gunsmithing which made the process pretty simple. The 80% lower that I purchased had the magwell cut and had the threads for the buffer tube cut as well. After the machining was done I took it to Quentin Houston & Sons here in the Springs for the engraving and then took it to Ximpak, in the Springs as well, for the anodizing.

My favorite part, is how short the barrel is.

What length does the barrel have to be under to require the stamp? Knew once and I can't remember
